Tell us a little bit about yourself, where you live, and what kind of things you are interested in.
I was born in Warsaw, Poland, but now live in South Florida. I’m a Musician/Alien/Vegan | Soon To Take Over Da World :-) My new EP “New Revolution” had its debut exclusively on tsu Tuesday April 7. I really appreciate the amazing support I had from the tsu team and thousands of users. The album will be fully available on iTunes here one week after the tsu debut: https://itun.es/i6Lg2jB
Tell people a little more about what brought you to TSU and the things you like to share there.
Christine Degraff is my tsu “Mom”. I read her piece about the site, and immediately knew it was something for me even though it was just getting started. Think I’m user 28,000 or something like that. As a musician, making a living from your art is tough if not impossible. Nobody buys CDs anymore. You can get paid from dozens of places, but small or minuscule amounts - Spotify, Rhapsody, iTunes, Amazon, YouTube, gigs, t-shirt sales, etc. I made $20 in my 1st month on tsū. Not a lot, but it doesn’t hurt because tsu is mainly about having fun and sharing a few posts a day. In comparison, I made 5 cents on Reverbnation in 3 months with their ad royalty system, despite being connected with 1000s there. Most importantly, I've connected to 1000s of people on tsu. If I can brighten the day of even a few of them daily with my music, it was worth it! Maybe I'll meet some of them at a future concert.
What do you like best about TSU?
So far really enjoying the positivity, how artists are treated and that you can donate to charities. It’s a New Revolution in social media. Social media is a big part of being a musician these days. Other sites, though, not only don’t pay you for the revenue you generate, but ask you to pay to get your posts sent to your followers. How is that right?
Is there any advice you can give to new people joining Tsu?
After you get set up, most important thing is either to find your old friends or new ones from around the world who have similar interests. The tsu experience for you is whatever you design.
What are you most passionate about in life and what drives that passion?
Music is at the core of what I do. I’m at the start of my career, and hope to be able to make a living from composing and performing. It’s a very difficult business to make it in though. Wish we luck!
Describe the greatest adventure of your life
So far probably zip lining high above the Costa Rican tropical forests. The nature and the views are amazing. Go if you haven’t tried it.
If you had all the money in the world but still had to have some kind of job, what would you choose to do?
I’m doing it now. Being a songwriter, composer and performer is what I’ve wanted to do for years. It’s very hard to make music a career these days. Wish me luck.
If you could choose just one thing to change about the world, what would it be?
That everyone has their basic needs; healthy food, adequate shelter and clean water. There are charities on tsu that help in some of these things. I think its amazing that we can help the least fortunate by hanging out in social media.
What makes you, you?
Once I get my music career going, can imagine starting a charity or something like that around supporting animals. I’m vegan and treating all of us creatures well is very important to me.
